Joe Bohon named Site Director, Dow Texas Operations

Joe Bohon, currently the Senior Site Integration Director for Texas Operations, has been named Site Director for Dow Texas Operations.  

Joe will be replacing Denise DeLaune who was recently named Vice President, North America Operations. Joe will report to Denise and will transition into the role by the end of April.

“Joe’s combination of strong history of operational excellence and results accompanied with his character and care for the people and community of Texas Operations makes him an outstanding new Site Director.  This new role will focus on driving competitiveness and results with more time devoted directly to Texas Operations” says Denise DeLaune.

Joe joined Dow in 2002 as a Mechanical Design Engineer in TES in Freeport, Texas. He has worked in a variety of roles in Texas Operations, including Production Engineer at Poly 3, Senior Operations Leader in Epoxy Intermediates, Production Leader of the Adhesive Polymers Plant (APP), Production Director of Poly 4, and Senior Production Director Poly 5&6.  Joe was named to his current Senior Site Integration Director role in 2022. In 2025, Joe added responsibilities as the Dow Sponsor for the TXO manufacturing facilities aligned to Diamond Infrastructure Solutions and for facilities aligned to Dow’s Industrial Solutions, Intermediates, and Infrastructure (II&I) business for Texas Operations.

Joe is an active member in the Brazosport community. He serves on the board of directors for the Brazoria County Petrochemical Council (BCPC) and chairs its Workforce Development Committee. He is a member of the Brazoria County Economic Alliance and serves on the board of directors for the Brazosport Water Supply Corporation (BWSC). He serves on the St. Luke’s Health Brazosport Hospital Advisory Council and was recently sworn in as a member of the Brazosport College Board of Regents. He also proudly represents Dow as the corporate University Champion for the University of Texas at Austin. In 2025, Joe was inducted into the Brazosport ISD Wall of Fame.  

Joe and his wife Stephanie live in Lake Jackson and have three boys, Vincent (16), Reid (11), and James (9).  In his spare time, Joe enjoys being outdoors, coaching youth sports, and staying actively involved in community organizations.

Joe is a third generation Dow employee and a lifelong resident of Brazoria County. He is a graduate of Brazosport High School and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
