Created in 2015, the Lower Brazos River Coalition is a task force for The Alliance and serves as an advocate for the continued flow of water down the Brazos River. The Coalition is a grassroots partnership consisting of individuals, organizations, municipalities, ranchers and farmers, environmentalists and conservationists, and businesses and industries. The Coalition advocates for responsible, balanced management of the Brazos River in accordance with state law, ensuring that the river’s limited resources are developed and managed for the benefit of all, from local communities and industry to agriculture and wildlife habitat.
