The Economic Development Alliance for Brazoria County is a county-wide, membership-based economic development organization created as a resource and advocate for the development and diversification of the economic foundation of Brazoria County.
In addition to its mission, The Alliance actively assists and promotes the needs for skilled labor, transportation improvements, more single-family housing, and the continued flow of water down the Brazos River through the Lower Brazos River Coalition, created in 2015.
To fulfill its mission and assist the county, The Alliance serves on the Brazoria County Petrochemical Council’s Workforce Development Committee and hosts bi-monthly Transportation Committee meetings to keep members updated on transportation issues. The Alliance, in partnership with the Brazoria County Council of Chambers, also hosts the annual Brazoria County Transportation & Infrastructure Summit, an event which began in 2011, to help the county implement strategies for the region's continued growth and the readiness of roadways and infrastructure.
